MOBILE APP FOR COMPANY INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION AT TRADESHOWS

A mobile app that helps trade show visitors to cut the amount of information junk they collect by changing to a digital format.

THE FUTURE OF TRADE SHOWS IS PAPERLESS

infocards is a solution and offers a complete suite of tools to help exhibitors to easily upload, manage and share all business documents, marketing material and other relevant information in the form of a digital infocard.

exhibitors should go paperless

Most exhibitors participating in trade shows print paper for a single reason – marketing collateral (brochures, pamphlets, catalogs, flyers, business cards, etc.) to engage potential buyers.

Out of fear of running out of stock before the end of the show, exhibitors tend to print more than what they need, wasting tons of papers in the process. Even worse, leftover leaflets often end their short-lived life in the trash.

Those marketing collaterals collected by attendees will stay in the promotional bag and never be read and also never be tracked. Exhibitors have no idea how many people took their material and who actually read it.

Paper marketing material is a waste of money, not only from printing and logistics expenses but also because of the wasted time and effort that goes into producing, organizing and handling these documents.

Attendees would love going paperless

Have you ever noticed visitors walking the aisles at events with arms full of bags, dragging a heavy luggage behind themselves? Was that your own experience at the last trade show you attended?

This has become a too familiar phrase: “could you please send it to me via email instead, I carry too many things already!” instead of taking one more catalog or brochure.

Buyers and attendees, in general, do NOT want to receive more documents. As a matter of fact, most of the materials they already picked up will end up in the trash somewhere between the trade show and the hotel. This is the reason behind the Infocards app.

BUSINESS DESIGN
BUSINESS HYPOTHESIS

Exhibitors will pay to use a system of distribution of their marketing collateral in digital form and the analytics of how many people actually viewed it after the trade show.

Attendees want information AND convenience. They would download an app that helps them collect digital documents and information from the companies they are interested in, instead of collecting printed marketing materials.

BUSINESS MODEL

Admin Portal: Exhibitors will pay to create their own infocard through an admin portal and output a QR for the users of the application to collect the infocard. There is a freemium model which allows them to create one event for free and pay for every new event.

Analytics: Exhibitors will also pay for the collected data (reporting) of how many people and how often their infocard was opened. Any activated “Call to action” (for example download a whitepaper, contact sales… etc) will also be tracked.

THE TEAM
DIGITAL PRODUCT DESIGN

Attendees to the trade show can install a native android or IOS application and collect Infocards directly on their smartphones. Each infocard has the most pertinent information about what the company does, website, address, person to contact… etc. and can be customized by the exhibitor with the information they consider to be important. The customization happens at the admin portal, that is accessible upon registration and payment.

The application works by scanning a unique QR code, the app pulls the information from the admin portal. After login into the admin portal, they can fill out the form and generate a QR code and a template poster that they can hang at the booth. They can also just generate the QR Code and added to their own poster.

The users need to download the app in order to access the QR code. If they try downloading the card another application, it will redirect them to download the app. Within the application, the cards can be grouped by event and date. Later they can be sorted by accordingly.

HIGH CUSTOMIZATION

Every Infocard can be customized to the specifications of every client. They can include pertinent information specifically for every trade show such as coupons, temporary links, offers… etc. Each Infocard has a rich media format which allows the user to include photos, videos, text, links, forms… etc.

For the clients, it is particularly interesting to see the stats of how many people downloaded the Infocard in which trade show. Once the users download the Infocard to see it later, it is possible to pinpoint the geo-location of the user at a later date.
